About
Alethe Trengove
Alethe has a genuine passion for understanding how the body moves and loves helping people achieve their full physical potential. She enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions.

Alethe graduated from the University of Sydney in 2005 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) and brings over 20years of experience to her role as Principle Physiotherapist and Director at Katherine Physio.

Alethe has a genuine passion for understanding how the human body moves and functions. She is driven by a desire to help people achieve their full physical potential and enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions across all stages of life.

With a background in elite sport, including time spent in the USA on a collegiate athletics scholarship and representing Australia in both athletics and triathlon, Alethe understands first hand how frustrating it can be to be sidelined by injury. This experience shapes her approach to care, motivating her to go above and beyond to help her patients return to doing what they love — whether that’s sport, work, or everyday life.

Over the years, Alethe has developed particular interests in hand therapy and splinting, as well as continence and women’s health physiotherapy. She has pursued further training in these areas through extensive professional development.

Alongside her clinical work, Alethe is passionate about leading and supporting her team. She takes great pride in mentoring her physiotherapists and fostering a positive, collaborative environment within the clinic.

Outside of work, Alethe enjoys staying active, fishing, camping and spending time with her family.
