Appointment Cancellation Policy

At Katherine Physio, appointment times are reserved specifically for you. Late cancellations and missed appointments reduce our ability to provide timely care to other patients. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Private and Medicare Patients

The following cancellation fees apply to all private and Medicare-rebated appointments:

• No Show or Cancellation within 2 hours of your appointment: The full appointment fee will be charged.
• Cancellation between 2 and 6 hours before your appointment: A $60 cancellation fee will apply.
• Cancellation between 6 and 12 hours before your appointment: The $60 cancellation fee will be waived if you reschedule your appointment at the time of cancellation.

Cancellation fees are not claimable through Medicare or private health insurance.

Cancellation fees will be issued by invoice. Payment is due upon receipt. Any outstanding cancellation fees must be paid before, or at, your next appointment and may be required prior to booking further appointments.

NDIS, Workers' Compensation, Home Care Package and Workplace Health Assessment Appointments

Appointments funded through the NDIS, Workers' Compensation, Home Care Packages, Workplace Health Assessments or other third-party funding arrangements are subject to the cancellation terms outlined in the relevant service agreement, funding agreement or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
